Panton Chairs

Verner Panton went into production on his first Panton chair in 1967.  That was the Panton Classic, a uniquely styled chair.

I came across the pictures above while surfing the net. I want to buy myself some new Panton chairs for my balcony.
It amazed me, that there was a panton design competition in 2010.  As you can see, these chairs have been customized, but what an interesting concept! I think these designs are too priceable and too beautiful to use outdoors.
